Our Commitment to Privacy

SecureVote Pty Limited is committed to protecting your privacy. It is bound by the National Privacy Principles, and is committed to complying with the NPPs and with the Commonwealth Privacy Act.  We understand the importance of managing data, and pride ourselves on the effectiveness of our processes to maintain the integrity and security of data entrusted to us by our clients.

Information collected

We collect personal information (which may include including your name, address, position, email address and contact phone numbers) in a number of ways, including:

·         When you inquire about SecureVote’s services

·         When you issue a request for tender

·         When we enter into a service contract with you

·         When we are provided with the details of members, employees and/or shareholders of an organisation utilising SecureVote’s services

How is your information used by SecureVote?

SecureVote collects personal information to provide you with the specific services you require,  to administer these services, and to ensure that our service levels are always of the highest standard.

 

In the course of providing services to you, SecureVote will from time to time use contract service providers, to whom it will be necessary to disclose personal information. SecureVote will provide only such information as is required to enable a particular service to be fulfilled.

 

SecureVote also uses the information:­

 

·         to send you information (either by e-mail or post) that you explicitly request;

·         to promote and market to you details of other products and services we consider may be of interest to you; and

·         for our internal marketing, research and analysis purposes to assist us in better understanding our market, our customers, their needs and their views about our products and services.

Security

SecureVote takes all reasonable care to keep personal information secure and confidential, and to keep personal information accurate and up-to-date. We have security physical and electronic systems and procedures in place to protect against unauthorized access to and loss, misuse and/or alteration of the information under our control.

Please note that if at any time SecureVote is required by law to release information about you or your organisation, it must cooperate fully.

Access to your information

You may gain access to Information that SecureVote has collected about you, by contacting the person named below. We will not charge you for responding to such a request. 

 

What this Privacy Policy does not apply to:

You need to be aware that this privacy policy does not apply to:

·         information about companies (unless it is also about an identifiable person)

·         acts or practices of SecureVote directly  related to employee records of current or former employees

·         websites accessed through a link from ours. In that case, the privacy policy of the owner of the other website (if any) will apply. We cannot and do not make any warranty or representation as to the practices of any linked websites in the handling of your personal information.

Policy updates:

SecureVote may modify this privacy policy at any time. If it is changed, the changes will be posted on SecureVote's web site.
